The ships are convincing due to a variety of sport offers and leisure activities for every age group. Particularly the outdoor area offers great experiences with ice rinks or zip lines. However not only the big vessels, but also the smaller ones offer plenty options to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. In the different restaurants you expect tasty dishes combined with an attentive service. On board, all age groups feel at home. Due to the company’s heritage a basic knowledge in English is recommended. Another thing to take into considerations is that the additional costs are higher than on German ships.
The “Adventure of the Seas” has been put into service as a ship of the “Voyager” class of Royal Caribbean Cruises in 2001. These giants of the seas provide nearly all possible facilities on board, so the ship becomes a destination in itself.
Atmosphere on Board
The “Adventure of the Seas” wants to please all age groups. Therefore, you can find all generations on board. The majority of the passengers come from the USA, but there are many international guests as well.

A bottle of wine in the restaurant or at a bar costs from about 25 U.S. $. All services are, as usual on American vessels, subject to a service fee.
All cabins are furnished very attractively, and are comfortable and quite spacious. Many cabins have private balconies. The “Adventure of the Seas” has cabins overlooking the promenade in the middle of the ship.
There are several ways to enjoy the fine cuisine on board. The main restaurant is situated on three decks and is inspired by the first-class dining room of the Titanic. The intimate specialty restaurant “Portofino” offers exclusive dishes of Italian cuisine. Reservations can be made on board for an additional charge.
Whether you prefer a quiet atmosphere or a party in the disco: from piano music to Broadway style shows to disco there is a huge range of different entertainment offers. On board there are art auctions, the ever-popular bingo games and lectures about the called ports.
