About AIDA Cruises
AIDA Cruises is a German cruise line that introduced the club vacation at sea in 1996 to the German marked. Passengers do not need to stick to firm dining seatings or dress codes. All passengers can enjoy a very casual and friendly atmosphere onboard. The cruise line convinces its guests with good buffets, a lot of sports and inventive entertainment. All passengers, also families and young guests, are very welcome onboard. The main onboard language is German.
AIDA prima offers a completely new dimension of cruising. It will be build in Japan and starts its first cruise in 2016 with a lot of new attractions onboard. 3300 passengers will be able to go onboard the ship which is 300 meters long.
AIDA Cruises offers 14 different types of staterooms on AIDA prima. Balcony staterooms are 20-25 square feet large.
Atmosphere on board
AIDA Cruises is mainly directed to the German-speaking market with various international itineraries. Therefore, the main onboard language on all AIDA vessels is German. AIDA Cruises stands for its casual and youthful service in an unstrained and easy going atmosphere.
Food and beverages
This new vessel offers 13 different restaurants with more á la carte restaurants than the older vessels of AIDA. Besides the French cuisine in “French Kiss” and the Mediterranean cuisine at the Casa Nova, guests can cook for themselves in the cooking class, for which ingredients are bought on the local markets. With about 18 different bars on board, the AIDA prima offers a big variety on locations to have a relaxed drink.
Entertainment, sports and relaxation
AIDA Cruises offers lively entertainment at night, from extraordinary shows in the theatre over great music at one of the lounges to dancing the night away at the night club. There is even a Beach Club by the pool, where beach parties are held at night. During the day, different games and activities are offered or alternatively you may visit the large AIDA Body & Soul Organic Spa or the Fit & Fun gym.
AIDA has the right vessel for you if you enjoy an easy going atmosphere with open dining times, no formal dress code and prefer rather young and active fellow passengers.
