Atmosphere on Board
The Queen Victoria welcomes you with an elegant interior in the style of the great ocean liners of the 20th Century with carved wood and wrought iron balustrades, with crystal chandeliers and many different exhibitions. While embarking, you will already feel the typical Victorian atmosphere on board of this Cunard ship. The three-story Grand Lobby is characterized by a six-meter-high wall relief, curved glass balconies, a circular staircase and floral ornaments. There are many different places to discover on board the Queen Victoria such as the shops in the Royal Arcade, fascinating paintings in the gallery and more than 6000 books in the library. In contrast to this there are sportive offers like fitness machines. After doing some sport you can relax in the Royal Spa or enjoy your time while drinking English tea in the Queens room.
All Cabins are spacious and well equipped starting at a size of 14 square metres in an inside cabin up to 198 square metres in a Grand Suite. When you book a Suite, you have the exclusive Concierge and Butler Service included. Furthermore you have access to the Queens or Princess Grill Restaurant for Dinner where you can enjoy your Menu anytime between 06:30 and 09:00 p.m. In these restaurants you will experience an exclusive society and culinary highlights. This entrée is exclusively for guests who have booked a Suite in the Princess or Queens Grill Category.
Food and Beverages
All guests who choose staterooms starting from inside up to balcony cabins will dine in the tasteful Art-Deco ambience of the Britannia Restaurant which is divided into two Levels. There are two main dinner times, either at 6.00 p.m. or at 8:30 p.m. If you prefer to book a balcony cabin in the club category, you will enjoy your dinner at the intimate Britannia Club Restaurant. Guests who have booked a suite will savor their dinner at the Princess or Queens grill restaurant. Be sure to reserve a table for lunch or dinner (for an extra charge) in the Todd English Restaurant and look forward to exquisite Mediterranean creations of celebrity chef Todd English, in an intimate setting.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
There are different shows in the Royal Court Theatre every evening. For an extra charge you can book one of the private balconies at sea including champagne and canapés. At night time the Orchestra invites you for a dance in the ball-room. Afterwards you can savor delicious Cocktails and live music at the Nightclub Hemispheres or in the Commodore Club.
Pump iron in the modern fitness center or try out one of the many fitness courses. Relax in the spacious spa area with a hydro pool and a thermal suite. The Queen Victoria offers traditional games on deck such as shuffleboard or quoits, paddle tennis, golf and table tennis. The promenade deck is ideal for taking a walk.
